John and Dagmar

A surprise!

Anna & Sam say ‘Thank you, Jo’ for their bible based workbook that arrived in the post this morning, what a great surprise!

slow down

I have been really mindful, since the lockdown, of the pace of life and how I seem to naturally revert to busyness at every opportunity. I have a strong sense that during this challenging time, there is an opportunity to slow right down, to walk to a new rhythm. It’s not natural, at least, not for me, but I know God is waiting for each of us to rest a while and spend time in His presence.

The cross of Calvary

Whilst in prayer I seemed to be taken by the Spirit to the foot of the Cross of Calvary. I stood next to a lady looking up the hill to the three crosses and realised it was Mary, the mother of Jesus. She started to sob and so did I, real heart sobs rending sobs. It really bought home to me the pain and suffering Jesus went through for us. Another day I was filled with incredible joy. This isolation has been and is such an incredible experience.
Love and blessings. Stay safe, Pat x

God of refuge

Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. Psalm 16:1
